At one time, we are only watching through our one eye, thus our mind gets fooled, and imagines the available video content as a 3D content. More than 120Hz content is a flicker free 3D content.

3D gaming is still an unexplored market in India. The success of 2D gaming has now encouraged gaming companies to start focusing on 3D gaming. There is a new wave of 3D televisions available in Indian market. Sony has launched recently their PS3 3D version, but the game titles available in 3D are very few.

The global market trend is very encouraging when it comes to 3D gaming. Its anticipated that by 2014, there will be more than 40 million gamers who will own 3D gaming solutions.

Recent experiments have broken many myths about 3D, one of which is that with today's 3D technology, hours of 3D gaming does not result in eye strain or fatigue. Stereoscopic 3D is one of the best available 3D technologies. There is lot of research going on in the world, to make 3D more cheaper and more friendlier technology.

All the major consumer durable companies like Sony, LG, Samsung etc. are promoting 3D technology with glasses, hence it may take a while before which we can see a good 3D technology without glasses. The problem with 3D without glasses is the currently available content in form of movies & games.About the Author
