Young Turks Startup Story
Anil Kumar is the Founder-Director of Great Sports Infra, and is credited with introducing the next-generation artificial grass – FieldTurf Tarkett – for the first time in India. Within a short span these maintenance-free lawns have been installed in over 1,400 of the best homes, restaurants, schools and offices in India. Professional sports stadiums like Salt Lake have installed these world-class surfaces for international competitions. Anil did his Engineering and MBA in India and subsequently an Executive Development Program from Kellogg School of Management. His work experience was in the Business Development & Management function with Wipro Infotech and Ramco Systems and includes a 7 year stint in the US, before starting Great Sports Infra (www.fieldturfindia.com) in 2004.
