Mohit Anand

As Country Manager, Mohit is charged with leading Belkin¡äs strategy and business in India. His core job responsibilities include enhancing visibility for the Belkin brand across market verticals and geographies, bringing customer centric product innovations to market, increasing consumer touch and experience across product lines, establishing strong retail partner relationships, streamlining distribution and supply chain logistics, and to overall increase the company¡äs market share in the rapidly growing CE and IT market in India. Mohit comes to Belkin from Star TV where he was Senior Vice President and he was heading Channel [V]. At Channel [V], Mohit was aggressively involved in building the channel into the country¡äs most sought music channel for the urban youth.Prior to joining Channel [V] Mohit was with Microsoft India, which he joined in 2000. At Microsoft, he spearheaded the company¡äs Entertainment and Devices Division, successfully managed retail, and media and entertainment partner relationships, and was credited with successfully leading the Microsoft¡äs Hardware and Interactive Entertainment business, including the much acclaimed launch of Xbox360, in the Indian sub-continent. Acknowledged amongst the Top 50 young business leaders by Business India magazine (January 2007), Mohit is also regarded as a subject matter expert and is amongst the leading icons of the Indian gaming industry.

Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked with Iris Computers Ltd., Tangerine Informatique Ltd. and Dave Thomson Associates. Mohit holds a Bachelors Degree in Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management. Mohit is a big gadget enthusiast and is an avid gamer as well with Age of Empires 2 ¨C Age of Kings being his all time favourite.
