Mobile Applications Make Traffic Police and Motorists Happy in Bangalore: GeniusPort

Bangalore traffic police will team up with Infosys, MindTree, TELiBrahma to create awareness about mobile applications as convenient mobile solutions targeted towards public, In a user awareness event hosted by GeniusPort, a Bangalore based company focussing on Learning solutions on major mobile platforms on December 17, 2010 at The Leela palace Kempinski, Bengaluru.

The dignitaries include Mr. Praveen Sood, Additional Commisioner of Police(Traffic), Dr. N Prabhu Dev, Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University, Suresh N, CEO, TELiBrahma, Abhishek, Vice President,

Product Engineering, Infosys, Shridhar Ranganathan, Vice President, Product Management, InMobi, Prof. B.S. Satyanarayana, Principal, RV College of Engineering and Others. Bangalore Traffic team lead by Mr. Praveen sood will speak about their BlackBerry mobile application, live demonstration of system and future technological advancement in BTP, Followed by MindTree, Infosys team telling about the changing trend in IT industry and tremendous jobs created in this domain, This awareness program will also focus on current education system equipping Mobile application in their curriculum.

 

According to Venkat. N, Chairman, GeniusPort, Infosys awarded nationwide training contract to GeniusPort on Mobile applications and similarly many IT majors like MindTree, HCL, SAP Labs have approached GeniusPort for Mobile Application training and development, this clearly tells how big is the market for mobile applications even for Indian market as many carriers like Airtel, Aircel,Vodafone have their own App store this in turn needs many more developers apart from global demand of mobile application developers.

consumer of Mobile Apps.
