As 2012 nears its end, with nostalgia we take a look back at the events that we conducted throughout the year. All those cherished moments with entrepreneurs, startup enthusiasts and investors are still fresh in our memories. The year was indeed eventful for us as we climbed the ladder of progress and our team grew and are now more potent as a unified force. The year 2012 indeed gave us the conviction that YOU as an entrepreneur and a startup soul, have recognized our attempts and value us as a platform for you. Here, we take you through a memorable tour of the events that we keep doing as a result of all the amazing content that is generated.

The grandest and biggest of them all is our flagship event- TechSparks, a technology product startup discovery platform which has roundtables in 5 cities followed by the grand finale in Bangalore. Roundtables were conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Ahemedabad this year. At the grand finale, the top 30 tech product companies are chosen. Taking a cue from TechSparks, YourStory thought of delving into verticals and hence conducted MobiSparks in the later part of the year. MobiSparks was an effort to discover the next gen of mobile entrepreneurs. 10 superstar mobile companies presented to a huge audience in Bangalore and the reception was phenomenals

Edustars was another amazing campaign which was a 3 month long online campaign in association with Accel Partners which culminated into an event wherein we showcased some of the best education startups from the nation.

Apart from EduStars, we had Qualcomm's QPrize which had startups vying for the USD 1 million worth of funds. The event was a grand success with Deck Apps taking away the winners spot.

Along with Amazon, we were proud to conduct the AWS Bean Bag Series in India- the first of its kind here. Simone Brunozzi, the technical evangelist of Amazon was in India and the bean bag series took us to three cities- Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.

And last but by no means the least, we also had the App On Cloud event. App on Cloud showcased the true potential of the developers and entrepreneurs in India by giving them an opportunity to build a killer app powered by Cloud.

All in all, it was a very satisfying event wherein we traveled to different parts of the country and the love we got has been overwhelming. We pledge to keep up the work and serve the startup ecosystem in India to the best of our abilities.
