TiE-Bangalore and Unstoppable India are organising a four-day festival, called 'Startup Festival' in Bangalore to celebrate the startup culture of the city. Vlad Dubovskiy, co-founder of social enterprise accelerator Unreasonable Institute and Shashikiran, associate director, TiE-Bangalore are the brains behind the festival. Bangalore, which was at one time ranked at # 9 on Startup Genome's list of top entrepreneurial cities in the world, has since fallen to # 19. Through Startup Festival, Vlad and Shashikiran aim to help get the city back into the top ten.

Startup Festival is a “100% partner-driven” festival where partners across social, cultural, educational, professional and entertainment verticals will collaborate. YourStory has partnered the event as its promotion partner. The festival, according to Vlad, “will unite entrepreneurs, government, business, academia, investors and organizations, all willing to do whatever it takes to make Bangalore the next big destination for entrepreneurs to come and realize their dreams.”

During the course of four-days, a number of events will be organized across the city that provide opportunities for knowledge exchange among the participants. The sessions will range from “How-to-Start” sessions hosted by local startups, to new startup launches, mentoring sessions, expert panels and more. The festival seeks to stitch together the entrepreneurial ecosystem under one brand: Bangalore Rises.

As one of the anchors of the Festival, TiE Bangalore will provide the participants a comprehensive eco-system with vital resources for every stage of the entrepreneurial process. Gayathri Sharma, executive director, TiE Bangalore, promises that the Startup Festival - Bangalore will be is one of a kind entrepreneurial celebration.

Startup Festival Bangalore will be held from March 7 – 10 in venues all across Bangalore. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit http://www.startupfestival.in/tickets. Tickets are available at a promo price of 750+tax for a limited-time.
