Bloomreach launches cross-channel-optimized mobile search and discovery solution

Founded by Ahutosh Garg and Raj De Datta in 2009, BloomReach started out as an effort to make the net more relevant. Based out the US, BloomReach has a strong development center in India which is headed by Ex-Googler, Vinodh Kumar. The company also recently raised $25 million in Series C funding and pumped up India operations.
After building a strong 100+ customer base for their natural-search product, BloomReach Organic Search, the team began to learn and hear more about the consumer and marketing frustrations within mobile and has now launched their product.
Raj De Datta wrote on their blog,
We began to build BloomReach with a very clear mission: create great experiences for consumers across all avenues of the web while enhancing discoverability and driving revenue for online businesses. While the end goal can be simplistically stated, the underlying technical challenge is considerably immense. Each avenue –online, mobile, social email, ad, etc. – is quite unique with a different set of consumer personas and intent accompanying each. Now, with a team consisting of more than 120 of the world’s brightest people and continuing to grow, we have the foundation to accomplish both equally important components of our goal.
BloomReach’s Mobile big data application makes existing mobile sites and applications relevant to each visitor with continuously optimized content mapped to the unique characteristics of both the mobile visitor and the device itself. Here is a demo of the product:
