25% of startups angel funded in 2011 have received follow up funds
Funding for a startup is a matter of celebration for any upcoming startup economy. Once we realize, that funding is almost like the start of a journey, more important questions like growth and scale become relevant to build a business. Last 5 years have been pivotal for India purely because of the number of startups that have popped up.
2011 saw a lot of funding (the great Indian angel/vc funding digest) and it is now that time when we look back and ask a few hard questions. We’re looking at the companies that received follow up rounds in the next 20 months.
