ReNew: Sourcing computers from the MNCs to make them accessible for the needy
Founded in 2009 by Mukund BS, ReNew is a Bangalore-based company which works towards making computers accessible for the masses. The company sources old computers and other electronic parts from the MNCs and makes them available for the people who cannot afford to buy computers at regular prices.
ReNew has a team of 8, including technicians; they have been selling the computers to individuals, rural schools, NGOs and other such places where the performance of the computer is not the top priority. These computers and other devices are priced in the range of INR 4,500.
