ICICI Bank is going to open 580 branches across the country

ICICI Bank is going to open 580 branches across the country till the end of next financial year. Speaking on the ocassion of the Annual general meeting in Vadodara Ms. Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank said that they are planning to open the branches in the next year which takes their tally up to 2000 branches across the country. Besides that Ms.Kochhar said that there is no plans for recruitment in future as they have enough manpower available with them. In addition to that she said that they plan to train exisitng resources and shift them to the newly opened branches of the bank. Ms. Kochhar added that they are focusing mainly on the current and saving accounts in the next year.

Ms. Kochhar was in Vadodara to attend the AGM of ICICI Bank on Monday.
