Meta Yage appoints 2 new members to join the biotechnology team

Tuhin Singharoy and Madhuri Raju joined the Meta Yage Biotechnology team in June 2009. Tuhin Singharoy joined Meta Yage as an IPR Attorney and his role involves analysis, prosecution, drafting specification and claims of patent application and also drafting licensing agreements, IP policies, technology transfer and research collaboration agreements, IT and software licensing agreements. He has an LL.B with specialization in IPR and Technology Law program from RGSOIPL at IIT-Kharagpur. Prior to the L.L.B, Tuhin worked for a Biotechnology company after completing his B.Tech in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology.
Madhuri Raju was appointed as Client Relationship Manager and will be responsible for developing business opportunities from Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical companies in India and managing relationships with clients. She manages complex patent search projects such as Freedom to Operate and Invalidity related to Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals. Madhuri completed a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Bangalore University, followed by a M.Sc. in Medical Molecular Genetics from the University of Aberdeen. She subsequently conducted research in the field of Genetics of Infectious Disease for her PhD from Cambridge University. She has also worked for a year at the University of Bristol, where she carried out research in the field of immunology.
