It gives us immense pleasure to announce the 3rd Batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Communications Management and Entrepreneurship (PGPCME 2009-10).

PGPCME is a unique path breaking programme designed to develop Young Innovative Leaders in the Communications Domain.

It seeks passion/experience and/or education in any of the following verticals in communications:

The Ideal PGPCME Participant

Advertising, Branding, PR and Event Management
Digital Media – Internet and Social Media
Graphic Design, Animation, Gaming and Photography
Print and Broadcast Media
Design – Products, Exhibitions, Events, Festivals and Retail
Publishing – Print and e-publishing
Film production and related fields like theatre, TV, educational films and videos
Rural Media and Communication

PGPCME targets participants who are self-directed idea creators, with strong communications and interpersonal skills and are motivated to pursue entrepreneurship in the communications domain.

The programme is largely beneficial to working professionals, with some work experience after graduation, wishing to set up a new venture or upgrade their qualifications for an entrepreneurial career.

The programme would also be of immense benefit to participants from a family business background, who wish to be groomed for leadership positions or want to diversify to start a new venture within communications domain.

Eligibilty and Selection Procedure

All candidates with minimum 50% in graduation and some work experience after that are eligible to apply.

Selections would be made through an Idea presentation, wherein the applicant would share his/her idea or concept that can add new value to communications as an industry or profession. This would be done through a short presentation by the applicant, followed by the MICA Programme

Incubation, Networking and Mentorship

All selected participants would be offered a Parallel incubation support in the form of a well designed office space and communications technology infrastructure like Idea Lab, Media and Research Labs, IMAC lab, TV and Production studio. The Programme would also offer immense opportunity of networking and mentorship with Marketing, Legal and Financial experts.

A self assessment tool in form of 'Decision Guide' is available on the website to guide the participant about his/her fitment in the course. Duly filled-in form along with Application Fee of Rs.1500/-, should reach us on or before August 10, 2009.
