Nafisa Radiatorwala,Founder-Entrepreneur, Nature's Glow

Dealing in a wide range of exclusive beauty products, Nature's Glow is all about herbal treatment which not only cares and protects but treats various skin aliments that plague us today.

 Based in Vadodara, Nature's Glow is the brain child of Nafisa M. Radiatorwala who made a mid career shift from costumes to cosmetics. “I started my career as a fashion designer and worked in many countries but I always had a interest in cosmetics, especially herbal products so I switch over my career to the latter” said Nafisa.

Being a Fashion designer Nafisa spent her initial professional years across the world and had a successful career but always harboured dreams of starting her own business in herbal cosmetics. “I have always had an interest in Herbals and had done lots of research on the topic when I worked as a fashion designer. Later on that interest bore fruit for me when I was approached by many companies to work for them as I done a lot of research in Herbals. But instead I decided to work for myself and hence started my own company,” said Nafisa.

Hailing from a Dawoodi Bohra, Muslim family & a Girl it was difficult for Nafisa to start Business on her Own. But with support from her friends and family she dared and started her own firm with a limited budget borrowed from friends and family, with a vision to care for the people the herbal way.

Starting in 2004 in Vadodara selling miniature herbal facial kits, Nafisa made a slow and steady start to her herbal cosmetics ambitions before expanding her business to produce herbal whitening facials and gels. As the product portfolio became more robust, she began to concentrate on international markets by manufacturing and marketing exclusive export-oriented products for the UAE, Africa, UK and many countries. “Export sales of herbal cosmetics to the international markets is a lucrative proposition as the demand for these products is strong there - especially whitening facial gels. Given that I had spend a lot of my time abroad, when I was working as a fashion designer, I do have an indepth understanding of consumer requirements in these markets besides a helpful network of business contacts.", says Nafisa.

But the love for her own city brought the lady back to Vadodra to target the local market and now Nafisa wants to expand her herbal products to each and every corner of Gujarat starting from Vadodara.

Nature's Glow is all about herbal beauty treatment which not only nourishes your skin and hair but it cares. In Nafisa's words, “ Nature's Glow products are strictly herbal and we concentrate on the treatment aspect which are missing in other products available in the market.” Whitening facial soaps, Aloe Vera gel, anti hair fall gel, bridal facial kits are among the most promising products of Nature's Glow.

Five years down the line Nafisa still remembers her initial days as an entrepreneur as she learnt the ropes of living through everday business challenges. "Yes, I did make some mistakes as I went along, especially on the packaging front, however, what held me in good stead was that I never compromised on the wuality of Nature's Glow's beauty products.". And it was this relentless pursuit of quality that has Nafisa now priding a diverse loyal client list - from NRIs to the social elite to the physically challenged. From its humble roots in 2004, Nature's Glow now has 15 employees on its payrolls and boasts a year on year growth rate of 20%.
