Entrepreneurial Venture CircuitSutra Technologies raises fund from SIDBI SAS

Amity Innovation Incubator (AII) as a part of their fund raising activity raised Rs.90.0621 Lakhs in the form of Equity and Optionally Convertible Debentures for its Incubatee Company CircuitSutra Technologies from SIDBI SAS. The fund is raised to explore new markets, products development, R&D. As advisor to this deal AII was involved in business planning, deal structuring, term sheet negotiations.

CircuitSutra Technologies Pvt Ltd is an emerging company based in India, with an aim to emerge as the world leader in software services to the semiconductor industry. CircuitSutra was started in November, 2005 and is able to establish itself as the centre of excellence in SystemC based SoC Modeling. With current focus on SoC Modeling, CircuitSutra plans to expand into Embedded semiconductor software services and outsourced EDA tool development. More and more contents of a SoC are becoming software, more and more chip design steps are becoming like C / C++ programming, CircuitSutra has an important role to play in the future of semiconductor industry.

SIDBI’s “Start up Assistance Scheme MSMEs (SAS)” main objective is to provide structured financing to startups and early stage enterprises with a focus on innovative new economy businesses.
