SME Chamber of India, India International Trade Centre and SME Export promotion council of India jointly organizing Seminar on Bank Finance & Other Funding Facilities for SME Growth on Friday, 8th January 2010 (15.00 Hrs - 18.30 Hrs) at SME Chamber of India Conference Hall, Andheri (E), Mumbai.
Since SMEs are the backbone of the Indian economy, they deserve full support and assistance from Government Departments and finance from Banks & FIs as a priority sector. SMEs are facing problems due to non-availability of adequate and timely finance from the banking sector for enhancement of business activities, modernisation, expansion, diversification, joint ventures and international collaborations as well as to buy or import quality raw materials, latest machinery and equipments for production of quality products. As per our observation, many of them do not have sufficient information, contacts and awareness about how to obtain bank finance and other financial products & support available from Government and Private Financial Institutions.
This will be a unique opportunity to SMEs to know more about various financial facilities for enhancement of business activities, export promotion, technology upgradation and expansion. The Conference will highlight on the formalities involved, preparing business plans, project reports and financial documents and performance results to obtain more financial support. The Conference will also deliberate on various issues and problems related to SMEs and will take up with the appropriate authorities and Banks. The Organisers will also provide support to avail and obtain financial assistance from various Banks, FIs, Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds.
Topics to be covered under this seminar are preparing business, plans& documentation for finance, collateral free loans – procedures& documentation, financial support for expansions, importance of CFO& financial advisory services for SMEs, contribution from private FIs for strengthening SMEs, opportunities for SMEs– PE & VC funds, funding facility for capital goods& raw materials, importance of credit rating for SMEs, letter of credit and international payment settlements, export credit insurance and support, NPAs and restructuring procedures and technology upgradation.
