Center for Knowledge Societies in collaboration with Jaaga presents PechaKucha Night.
PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
The theme for the evening, “Indian Innovation Stories”, will give us a brief peek into the innovations emerging in new India; the ways in which technology, media, physical and virtual spaces are being customized and contextualized to connect better with individuals and communities that continue to remain outside the immediate focus of larger corporate entities but provide nonetheless a potential user base of considerable size.
Doors open at 7 and presentations begin at 8 PM .
Venue : Rhenius Street, Off Richmond Road, Opposite Hockey Association Stadium Main Gate, Shantinagar, Bangalore
