Mozilla, Mahiti & The Centre for Internet and Society are joining hands to organize an informal developer-oriented conference in Bangalore on Saturday February 27, 2010.
The Mozilla DevDay will be an opportunity for developers, open source enthusiasts, and web aficionados who live in and around Bangalore, to meet Mozilla staff and learn about the Mozilla Project and its technologies. The DevDay is a free conference open to the general public.
The event is free and open to the general public. All sessions will be in english.
Mozilla Labs Hack session
In the afternoon, members of the Mozilla Labs will be hosting a Jetpack Code Session. It starts with getting to meet the Jetpack team, as well as some informal and hands-on lessons in learning to enhance the browser by creating your own jetpack.

Food & Drink
The event will be catered by a local restaurant called "Halli Mane", which serves authentic vegetarian south Indian fare.

The Bangalore DevDay event will be held at National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) - JRD Tata Auditorium
