Opera 10.50 Beta Web Browser The Fastest Browser on Earth?

Opera Software today released the beta of Opera 10.5 for Windows. The big improvement in this new release is a new JavaScript engine; Opera claims that it’s eight times faster than the previous version.

A completely new JavaScript engine makes Opera 10.50 run Web applications more smoothly. Up to 8x faster than its predecessor, the new Carakan engine speeds up even the most demanding Web sites.
