Gopal Jain is a Founder & Managing Director at Gaja Capital Partners, an India-focused private equity firm that provides growth capital to emerging companies. Mr. Jain has been a professional investor in the Indian capital markets for the last 18 years. He has invested in over25 PE transactions till date and has helped create multiple sector leaders in India. Prior to founding Gaja, Mr. Jain was Managing Director, India of View Group L.P., one of the earliest VC firms active in India. Mr. Jain also has significant entrepreneurial & operating experience in the financial services space, helping create a number of businesses in this sector. He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Delhi. Mr. Jain Œs past investments include Educomp Solutions Ltd, India Life Hewitt, III and TV-18.
