Meet Sunjay Aryan who is helping people bridge the English divide! His multimedia innovation Speak Today is a ‘do it yourself’ English Encyclopedia that allows users to choose from a host of regional languages as they learn their lessons in English. The venture today has grossed a turnover of over Rs 6 Cr, has 30 franchisees and 3600 users online. With a vision to train over 1 lakh aspirants by the end of this year, the venture has tied up with Cyber Café Association of India to reach over 180 cities. Sunjay is also eyeing an IPO by 2012.

Catch our entrepreneurial duo who have mastered the formula for online tutorials. Drawing the best from the academic world and combining it with the outsourcing model, Nishant Sinha & Aditya Singhal set up their online teaching venture TransWeb Educational services in 2007. Providing live and interactive tutoring over the internet, the venture offers customized classrooms to students from K12 to even IIT aspirants. The venture today has over 3 lakh registered users and has grossed a turnover of Rs 5 Cr this year.

And meet Saumil Majumdar for whom real education transcends classrooms. An IIM Bangalore graduate, Saumil decided to turn entrepreneur with his venture Edusports. Creating and managing sports curriculum for K12 schools in India, the venture ensures Physical Education & Sports are given same level of rigor as other subjects. Starting up in 2009, today edusports progammes are run in more than 60 schools and Saumil is targeting a turnover of Rs 4.5 Cr this year.
