€20,000 Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition for female students, employees and alumnae of Limburg institutions of higher education

Together with the city of Maastricht, the MC4E is organizing the second female business plan competition!

Once again the city of Maastricht has put €20 000 up for grabs for the entrepreneur with the best business plan. 

Who can participate?

The competition is open for female     

- students,    

- alumni, and    

- employees

of Limburg institutions of higher education. In the case of teams at least 50% the team needs to be affiliated with an institution of higher education and at least 50% need to be women.

Participants from previous years can also participate, as long as you have a new idea.

When can you participate?

The competition will be played in three rounds from September 2010 until May 2011:

Round 1: Ideation – Prize €500 (Deadline: 15 Oct '10, registration until 1 Oct '10) 

Round 2: Feasibility study – Prize €1 000 (Deadline: 14 Jan '10, registration until 1 Jan '11) 

Round 3: Business plan - Prize €20 000 (Deadline: 8 Apr '11, registration until 25 Mar '11)  

You can enter the competition at any time and therefore have a chance of winning the first prize up until the last round.

The business plans will be assessed by a jury of female entrepreneurs, academics and investors. After intensive deliberation winner will be announced at an award ceremony shortly after each deadline. Details about the ceremony will be sent to participants in due time.

How can you participate?

Step 1: Register at least 2 weeks before the final deadline of each round, by sending your name, the

name of your institution of higher education and faculty, e-mail and phone no. to

Veroniek Collewaert. You will receive a confirmation e-mail within a few days.

Step 2: Submit your documents before the deadline to Veroniek Collewaert. More infromaiton on each
