Last Day for QPrize submission extends to 21st December, 2010

Program Name: Qualcomm Ventures QPrize^TM – Seed Investment Competition

There is a lot of buzz in India with respect to Mobile and Wireless ventures. While this optimisim is justified in a country which has over 500 million mobile users, what is needed is full fledged support to entrepreneurs and start-ups working in this space. With this intent in mind, Qualcomm Ventures has launched a global competition for entrepreneurs and start-ups that are seeking their first “Seed” round of funding. Contestants will be asked to submit their QPrize^TM business plans to Qualcomm Ventures, who will select eight (8) finalists at each of our (6) six regional competitions. Winners from the (6) regional competitions will each be awarded US$100,000 in prize funding from Qualcomm Ventures and invited to the United States to compete for an additional US$150,000 at QPrize^TM Grand Finals.

Timeline & Key Dates:

• Official Launch – Sept 14^th, 2010
• Submission Deadline – December 14^th, 2010
• Regional Finals – January 2011
• Grand Finals – March 1^st -2^nd , 2011
