- Medical equipment market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 17% over the next five years and reach USD 2.075 Billion (INR 9735 Cr)
- The domestic market for medical equipment currently stands at USD 820 Million (INR 3850 Cr)
- Annually, medical equipments worth USD 520 Million (INR 2450 Cr) is manufactured in India, out of which USD 75 Million (INR 350 Cr) is exported
- The growth of medical equipment market is directly proportionate to growth of healthcare delivery which stood at USD 45.36 Billion (INR 2, 16,000 Cr) in 2009
