Zynga Launches Rewardville : A new online rewards program

Zynga Inc. recently announced the global launch of RewardVille, a new online rewards program that gives Zynga’s over 250 million players more ways to enjoy the games they love. With RewardVille, players can build their Zynga network status, earn Zynga-level points and coins, and unlock exclusive and limited edition virtual goods to apply to their favorite games. 

RewardVille is now available to everyone who signs up at: http://www.RewardVille.com. 

“Our players are at the heart of all we do so our goal is to constantly look at ways to bring them the best and most fun experience when they play,” said Roy Sehgal, vice president, Zynga. "With RewardVille, our aim is to delight players by rewarding them with new Zynga-level points, and exclusive limited edition virtual items. We love that you love our games, so here’s your chance to reap some rewards!”

This is the first cross-game rewards program of its kind and the first time Zynga players in one game can help those in another game, letting you play and connect with your friends, regardless of their favorite Zynga game. Here’s how it works:

·        Play Top Zynga Games – CityVille, FrontierVille, FarmVille, Mafia Wars, Zynga Poker, Café World, Treasure Isle, YoVille, PetVille, and Vampire Wars are all featured in RewardVille.

·        "Level-up" the Zynga Way – Rack up Zynga-level points called “zPoints” and currency called “zCoins” across Zynga games. Earning zPoints lets you advance your Zynga level, gain zCoins, and just as in the games, unlock different RewardVille items along the way. Earn as much as 80 zPoints per game or 300 zPoints total in one day. The more you play Zynga games, and the more Zynga games you play, the faster you’ll level up and earn rewards in RewardVille.

·        Get Exclusive Virtual Goods – Redeem zCoins for exclusive and limited edition items, such as the “Stepped Skyscraper” in CityVille or a “Ring of Fire” in FrontierVille, available only on RewardVille. These special items are free and offer great payouts that help you advance faster in your game. All players who sign up for RewardVille in March will receive one free item per game.

·        Connect with Friends Across Games – Send mystery gifts across games to friends and family playing other Zynga titles. Once they accept your gift, they gain zPoints or zCoins which can be traded in at RewardVille for exclusive items in the games they love to play.

RewardVille is the latest addition to a suite of Zynga products that gives players the best experience across the Zynga network. Zynga Message Center was created last year to make it easier to accept gifts and requests and already has over 25 million player saccepting over a quarter billion gifts daily. Zynga Game Bar is a free, easy-to-install tool bar that equips players with the latest updates on their favorite games.

RewardVille is available in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
