An Open House for Media EducationThe AAT-SAE College campus at Chennai will transform into a Centre for Excellence for two days on the 3rd and 4th of June 2011, showcasing a wide array of media courses to choose from and help shape careers. The carnival will be an eye-opener for students looking at alternative career opportunities in the field of media and entertainment.

The AAT-SAE Media Career Workshop will be spread over two days of interesting activities like workshops, seminars and many more entertaining sessions that would kindle the creative aspect in the minds of the participants. Timings of the workshops will be from 11am to 6pm at AAT-SAE College, 6th Floor, Jayalakshmi Estates, 29/8, Haddows Road, Chennai – 600006.

Workshop/Seminar Sessions

Prominent media personalities like National award winning film maker Mr. Vetrimaran and team, Creative graphics specialist Ms. Deepa Umesh,          Ad Film maker Mr. Sailesh Chandrakant, Eminent Musician Mr. Anil Srinivasan, Music Composer of Tamil Film – “Kanden” - Mr. Vijay Ebenezer, Visual Effects Specialist of Film “Endhiran”- Mr. G.M.Karthikeyan etc. will be conducting Seminar sessions on their field of specialization and help the budding aspirants to understand the world of media.

The demo will include showcasing of professional works of the speakers. This will also include an interactive Q and A segment involving the audience.

The workshop sessions will provide in-depth insights in the following streams of media studies:

  1. Visual Communication
  2. Animation Arts
  3. Recording Arts
  4. Digital Film Making

The participants will be lead through a stimulating journey of pre-production, production and Post-production thereby exposing them to a complete new experience of creation and execution of ideas come alive in terms of music, films and animation.
