The war has just started for the tablets and there is stiff competition from all sides. At first, it was the iPad which caught the attention of many, which was followed by Amazon’s Kindle and now Barnes & Noble’s recently launched Nook e-book reader.
Consumer Reports, a famous magazine in USA has reported that Barnes & Noble’s Nook e-book reader stands ahead of Amazon’s Kindle in the tablet race. The magazine reports, the simple touch reader is on par with Kindle and competes in all the possible areas of operation.
This news has come as a surprise to everybody. Nook is a much more improved version of Kindle 3 in many aspects, especially with a superior performance in touch screen and a battery which offers double life. But, this lead might just be temporary. Amazon will be releasing the next version of the Kindle this summer, as it has been doing for the past 3 summers.
Consumer Reports apart, Kindle is bound to come up with some mind blowing features in its next version which will surely encompass Nook in quick time. One has to be careful while choosing a tablet as there is a hot race in the market. Let us know your views on this by writing to feedback@yourstory.in
