LIBA Conducts Graduation Day 2011

For the students of Executive Diploma Programmes (2010-11)Chennai July 11th 2011:  LIBA (Loyola Institute of Business Administration) one of the top 10 B -schools in India conducted it’s “Graduation Day” for Executive Diploma Programmes (2010 – 11 Batch) at its campus. The ceremony witnessed the graduation of around 173 students. The dais witnessed the gracious presence of Dr. Fr. Christie, Director, LIBAFr. Emmanuel Arockiam, Dean and Deputy Director, LIBA, Dr. Thiagarajan, Chairperson, LIBA and Shri. Ranga Reddy, CEO of Maverick Systems, PGDM (XLRI), who was the Chief Guest of the evening and he awarded the certificates to the students. The ceremony was also a platform to present high achievers with awards and prizes.

Delivering his welcome address, Dr. Fr. ChristieDirector said, “Learning is a continuous process and the students should continue to learn throughout their lives. Excellence and Ethics are the hallmarks of the education at LIBA.” He also congratulated the students on their success and extended his wishes to their parents, relatives and friends on this occasion which was a moment of fulfillment of their dreams”

Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Ranga Reddy, CEO, Maverick Systems said, “While choosing a company you must be more concerned about the people you work with rather than just going about the brand image of the company.” Revisiting the adage, ‘No pain, No gain,’ he said that the students can achieve success without pain if they made the right choices. He also cautioned them to refrain from being trapped in the rat-race. “Be patient during the initial period of work and not crave for progress in a short period. Things would be much better if pleasure and work are combined together”, he added.

The Graduation ceremony concluded with the LIBA Anthem followed by the National Anthem. It was indeed a proud moment for everyone who witnessed the glorious event.
