TechSparks App4India is part of YourStory’s endeavor to capture the best of mobile/tablet apps in India as part of our flagship emerging technology platform TechSparks 2011. The Grand Finale of TechSparks is slated for August 19, 2011 at IIM-Bangalore. The App4India contest is powered by Intel and the best app will win Rs. 50,000.The contest is open to developers above 18 years of age and the app can be built for any platform – Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian. The best 10 apps will be showcased at the Grand Finale.

The winners will be selected on the following criteria for apps: novelty, utility, user experience, and ability to monetize.
