Vikram Kant Upadhyaya, who is a member of IAN and an angel investor, is on IndiaCollegeSearch’s board and is also the Chief Mentor and Observer. Prominent educationists from AICTE and IIT are part of the advisory board.

Positive word mouth promotion has worked wonders for the site, which has seen a steady increase in the number of students, since its December 2010 launch, visiting The team believes that the site is addressing an unmet need and attributes the growth in visitors to this. The professional colleges which have registered on the platform are also extremely happy with IndiaCollegeSearch.

Currently IndiaCollegeSearch is working towards getting ready for the 2012 admission season. This year they are planning to increase the number of engineering colleges on board as well as cater towards students seeking admission to MBA, MBBS or any other professional course. The objective is to increase the number students utilizing the site by providing them a wider bouquet of courses to choose from.
