After Twitter, Klout Introduces Brand Pages
Founded in 2008 in San Fransico, Klout is a company that provides social media analytics to measure a users influence. A score on a scale of 100 is attributed to every user, depending on her popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks. And now, following Twitter's launch of Brand Pages in Asia (previously was introduced in US and UK), Klout launched it's Brand Squad.Brand Squads, currently in beta, are Klout’s way of giving influencers a place to be recognized and have a direct impact on the brands they care about most.
The brand page will show a list of top 10 and 100 influencers. With Brand Squads, one will see a dynamic list of top influencers for each brand, watch conversations flow across social media, monitor information about a brand’s recent developments, and earn access to special Perks.
As part of this beta launch, Red Bull has offered Perks that will roll out to their top influencers over the next few weeks. If you’re one of Red Bull’s top advocates, they’ll keep you informed with a subscription to The Red Bulletin and make sure that you’ve had a chance to try their new Red Bull Total Zero by sending you a 4-Pack. The very top influencers will get some sweet merchandise or even a VIP Red Bull experience, like a behind-the-scenes look at the X-Games.
