Packt UK Publishes A Beginners Guide for FusionCharts; A Rare Featfor an Indian Product Company
All of 17 back in 2002, Pallav Nadhani, finding no interest whatsoever in what Excel had to offer, started FusionCharts. Starting with just 6 types of charts a decade ago, to 90 charts and 550+ maps that work on a variety of platforms; FusionCharts has come a long way clocking over 20,000 customers across 118 countries. FusionCharts aims to bring life to charts and make them speak for themselves and the fact that more than 80% of the fortune 500 companies use them is a huge stamp of approval.Packt, famous for its practical guides in the web development space (especially on niche technologies) was looking for authors to write a book on FusionCharts on Twitter and people at FusionCharts themselves were more than ready to oblige. Sanket Nadhani, then Marketing and Sales head, took charge of authoring the book along with Pallav Nadhani and Shamasis Bhattacharya and it is now out. FusionCharts can do some amazing stuff with your data and it is one company that lives by its tagline- Data to delight… in minutes.
Charts like these can raise ones’ impression to mercurial levels in the board room:
The company is proud to have reacted quickly to the changing trends in the charting eco-system. “We made a smooth transition bringing all the goodness of our charts from Flash to JavaScript, and as a result have seen even stronger growth” says Sanket. In response to continual requests from customers, they have now increased their footprint in the form of two new product lines- one focused on Microsoft PowerPoint and the other on Microsoft SharePoint. Going forward, they understand the need to avoid fragmentation and ensure their charting products work seamlessly across platforms and devices. This will take the load off developers, and in doing so, make charting more usable than ever.
FusionCharts Beginners' Guide - The Official Guide is now available on the Packt website, and people can also pick it up from Amazon, Barnes&Noble and Safari. Catch Pallav Nadhani, the CEO in a video here.
