OrangeScape Named as The Tech Partner for Google Cloud Platform Partner Program

OrangeScape Named as The Tech Partner for Google Cloud Platform Partner Program

Thursday July 26, 2012 , 2 min Read

Cloud has been at the core of what Google does and in the last decade, Google has invested in building an infrastructure that can serve 4 billion hours of video every month, support 425 million Gmail users and store 100 petabytes of web index! Quoting from the official Google blog, helping to move businesses on the cloud, Google has launched the Cloud Platform Partner Program and Orangescape, that provides Visual Platform as a Service (PaaS) is one of the partners.

Eric Morse, Head of Sales and Development, Google Cloud Platform said,

We think it’s important to provide you with the best options for your business, which is why we are thrilled to introduce the Google Cloud Platform Partner Program. This program provides our partners with the tools, training and resources they need to successfully address your business’ IT needs. For example, Orangescape Technologies, one of our partners, integrated Google App Engine as part of their platform to help United Biscuits, a leading manufacturer of biscuits and snacks in Europe, migrate their legacy Lotus Notes applications to the cloud.

In a very nascent stage yet, it'll be interesting to see how the structure of this Partner Program shapes up in comparison to the already well developed AWS Program.
