Bangalore India Bio Summit 2013 Announced by Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Karnataka Government
The department of Information Technology, Bio-Technology and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka and
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw's Vision Group on Bio-Technology announced Bangalore India Bio event, which will be held from 4th - 6th Februrary 2013 at the Lalit Ashok, Bangalore.This is the 13th edition which will feature conference sessions, trade shows, awards and contests in the fields of bio life sciences. The event will feature numerous parallel tracks with a focus on Startups and SMB's. The organizers have tied up with the likes of IIM Bangalore, ABLE, NCBS and other reputed life sciences organizations in line with the tag line for this year's event; Biotechnology for a better tomorrow.
Other Initiatives
After recently opening an Incubation center specifically for biotechnology businesses in electronic city, the Governement of
Karnataka, in collaboration with Vision Group has started work for a Biotechnology Park in Bangalore as well. The team has hired an Australian SEZ architect to design and oversee the construction of this park.
With Bangalore accounting for a major chunk of biotechnology work in India, there are a lot of exciting initiatives in this field which YourStory.in will bring to you first.
