Gemini New Media Ventures is an incubator based out of Mumbai that will be guiding and mentoring startups starting this November and was founded by Deep Malhotra.
Deep Malhotra has been involved in startups since early days of the dotcom build up in India. He started his career by setting up his own New Media Company Onmag.com and then moved on to be part of the Rediff.com media sales team in 2004, post which he was in the founding team for Google In India & helped setup sales operations in the country. From there he moved into the role of Senior Director for Fox Interactive Media (MySpace.com) and help setup operations for India & South East Asia.
Being a part of startup environment in India for so long and being clued into the digital media space, Deep has started Gemini New Media Venture. Based out of Mumbai, Gemini offers real estate support and business strategy assistance in areas of revenue strategy, market strategy, revenue strategy, digital marketing, core team recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, helping to convert the idea into a profit making business.
Gemini also helps international companies setting up operations in India. At Gemini New Media Ventures, the aim is to meet the strategic and operational requirements of start-ups by advising, mentoring and guiding them through the early stages of starting up and the initial teething problems of a typical start-up.
