In addition to polishing the personality of individuals, Tokas is an avid adventure sports fan and likes to take off on an adventurous trip every now and then. **Arindam Sen** has more than 10 years experience in developing and executing effective programs aimed at enabling individuals and brands communicate effectively with their audience. His forte is developing very effective tools and techniques to communicate – verbal as well as written – in English. When he is not helping people improve their communication skills, Arindam can be found at the nearest coffee shop gorging on some chocolate delicacies, along with a coffee. The perfect mix: Arindam is the brain of the company and Pradeep is the muscle.

Entrepreneurial Motivation

“We were always more than willing to share our experiences and knowledge with people around us so that everyone can grow. We used to conduct free classes over the weekends since quite some time. Fortunately for us, all the people who used attend our class, always spoke highly about us and how our interactions had brought about a positive change in their lives. The idea of starting our own company came during the economic downturn 4 years ago (in 2008). Many of our acquaintances with very effective communication & public speaking skills managed to get promotions, even though they were not very efficient workers. On the other hand, some other people, who were much more capable, but had inadequate communication & public speaking skills, lost their jobs and their lives actually went for a toss. At that time, we decided to venture into entrepreneurship and start our own company, so that we can share our experience with the world at large and not limit it to some people we know. With the hope that if another economic down turn comes, we can make sure some capable people get what they deserve.”

Soft Skills Development

There are many talented and capable individuals in India who are not able to achieve their potential due to inadequate communication and public speaking skills. Pradeep managed to overcome these shortcomings on his own, but not everybody is so fortunate and abled. And this is the situation when only 9 states have English as a compulsory language from Class 1. Hence, he decided to train people on public speaking and communication skills, so that they can grab every opportunity life offers.

But one thing which people overlook is that having the knowledge of a language and being able to put forth your ideas effectively are two different yet inter related things. An individual can have perfect knowledge of English, but if he/she is lacking in public speaking skills – the knowledge of English will go waste. This is where their idea steps in and will work. Their course aims to enhance communication skills and public speaking skills simultaneously.
