Milind Pathak, Ex-VP Comviva, Joins One97 as Global Head of New Business

One97, the leading Mobile Internet company, today announced the appointment of Milind Pathak as its Global Head of New business. One97 offers mobile first services to consumers using feature phones and smart phones. The key offerings from the company include mobile content, mobile marketing and mobile commerce services under the Paytm brand name. This move is primarily to fuel the firm's global expansion plans. With Milind's leadership, One97 aims to create new business overseas and cater to the global market.Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Managing Director of One97, said, "Milind is an exceptional addition to the One97 leadership team. Milind comes with over 18 years of experience having worked with companies like Comviva Technologies, Buongiorno Hong Kong and Mitsui.

Most recently, Milind Pathak served as Vice President – Asia Market Unit at Comviva where he led and managed sales, business development and strategy. Prior to Comviva, Milind headed Buongiorno Hong Kong as its Co-CEO and Country Manager, where he set up the company from scratch in India and built it as a respectable VAS company riding on the back of many innovative solutions.

Milind holds an engineering degree from the University of Pune and a PG in Marketing from the JBIMS, University of Mumbai.
