As the Director of International Events for Health 2.0, Pascal Lardier has spent the past few years travelling around the world promoting the global Health 2.0 community and expanding its outreach. Through his travels, Pascal has immersed himself into the growing international community of health-tech entrepreneurs ranging across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
When asked how India fits into the Health 2.0 global community, Pascal noted that, “India is always inspiring because the health problems are big challenges. But at the same time the IT skills here are amazing, and people here have good hearts. So, good hearts, plus coding skills, equals incredible solutions.”
At the Health 2.0 conference on Saturday, we caught up with Pascal to find out what is going on in Health 2.0 around the world, what trends he has noticed, and in what areas he sees the most opportunity.
Besides the events, Health 2.0 has helped establish around 60 local Health 2.0 chapters around the world. According to Pascal, the goal of these chapters is to set up local meetings that will promote the Health 2.0 community at the city level. If you are interested in starting a Health 2.0 chapter in your city, Pascal is the man to contact.
