BrizzTV is a Bangalore based company that has built a patent pending TV ad-tech platform that opens up opportunities for non-video ads directly on TV. They have come up with their latest product called ‘Google Ads on Broadcast TV' and have announced an exclusive partnership with PlatformPlay as their monetisation partner. PlatformPlay is a venture that was launched by Rammohan Sundaram earlier this year and focuses on devising the “India entry strategy” for digital businesses looking at increasing their presence in India.How does this work?

So, if you ever wanted to run a campaign on those L-shape banners that you see during IPL matches, BrizzTV will soon enable it for you, directly from internet. i.e. you can run a brand ad campaign on TV in three steps - uploading the creative to their website, choosing the geographies in which you want the campaign to be seen & provide campaign start & end time. The localization power of print ads & delivery efficiency of web ads are clubbed for a massive audience on TV.

Going forward, BrizzTV plans to use its platform to enhance regular TV viewing experience by bringing together related online social conversations from web about the TV show you are watching directly to your TV. BrizzTV has a unique perspective of TV industry - it thinks of TV networks & broadcasters as premium publishers who are sitting on a massive under-utilized captive audience who spend at-least 3-4 hours with them a day & it is bringing in new age models to monetize it.
