5th iDiya Challenge, a national social venture ideas competition by ISB, is now open for applications

iDiya is a National Social Venture Ideas Competition targeted at working professionals and early stage social ventures. It provides an opportunity to budding entrepreneurs to propel their self–sustaining business ideas. Apart from the prize money and corpus funds, top 10 teams are invited to one-week long bootcamp session at ISB campus, where they receive valuable mentoring support to help convert their dreams into reality.


Speaking of this initiative taken up by ISB, the spokesperson said, “Indian School of Business is committed to the vision of inclusive growth of the nation and iDiya is an endeavor towards achieving the same. iDiya is a student driven initiative conceived in 2009 by Net Impact club. The past four years of iDiya has seen around 150 applications each year, from all around the country, and iDiya has provided a promising platform to propel social ideas into successful ventures.”


Some of the successful ventures who have won at previous iDiya competitions and have gone ahead to do impactful work in the social entrepreneurship sector are:

5th iDiya challenge is going to be officially launched today, July 26th, 2013 at 6.30 pm at ISB campus, Hyderabad. Mr. M.N.Rao, former MD and CEO of Tata Business Consulting will inaugurate the launch. Registrations to the 5th iDiya challenge will open today.
