Eki Communications is a Mumbai based startup developing smart mobility solutions. The company is backed by Blume Ventures and in a recent announcement has launched a digital “market research self-service product”- Survelytics. The product is intended for market researchers, media companies, education institutions and brands.
Survelytics enables researchers to capture ‘In-The-Moment’ response from target consumers through smartphones, tablets or computers and the responses can be captured online as well as offline, and can then be uploaded in the cloud.
Research via surveys has traditionally been a paper and pen intensive job but with the advent of mobile phones, researchers are increasingly finding mobile as a research channel to do quantitative and qualitative research. Survelytics is banking on this trend and participants can capture audio, images, text, bar code , videos etc. using their smartphone.
Researchers can create mobile surveys as well as online surveys using the same tool. It also provides a range of question types and options like geo-location, timestamp, multilingual support, routing logic, etc. The pricing of the product is still being modulated and currently it is being offered on a per project basis.
There are a couple of other startups like Hazel media and Outline India in this field who can see a strong interplay over here as well. Check out Survelytics here and get it on your phone via the App Store or Google Play.
