Entrepreneurship Cell, Delhi Technological University

The clubs and forums like Entrepreneurship Cells in various colleges help in sparking the entrepreneurship bug in the young students and make aware of the possibilities of not following the mainstream and rather create a stream for oneself. ECell, DTU is one such organization. It was started in the year 2008, and it aims to bring together the entrepreneurial passions to converge on a common platform.

Apart from hosting various activities, its prime event is E-Summit which includes B-Plan competition, leadership lectures, case study workshops, and innovative games. These allow interaction among heterogeneous groups, such as corporations, working professionals and students from all across the nation.

E-Summit 2009 saw the ascent of innovation and creativity in the world of entrepreneurship. While the E-Summit 2010 had as its theme Green and Renewable Energy. It witnessed an unusual guest on its inaugural day, Rahul Bose, the renowned rugby player-actor-social activist. The 2011’s E-Summit carried the similar aura and was inaugurated by Vinod Dham, the father of the Pentium chip, and distinguished alumnus of DTU formerly DCE. The E-Summit held in January 2012 had ‘dreams’ as its theme adding to the uniqueness of the event.

Apart from hosting events, they play an important role in supporting their alumni who started while they were still students, Examples are:
