The eBazaar team at SingTel is focussed on driving the efforts in digital media arena for SingTel. eBazaar has partnered with Shopify to take their offerings across Asian countries.Talking about the partnership with Shopify, Lynette Lee, Director, eBazaar adds, “Shopify has a fantastic platform that allows small and medium businesses to create an online presence for themselves. With SingTel’s understanding of the market in Asia and also some of our acquisitions here, we will be a good partner for them in terms of reaching out to new customers and reaching out to new partners. We leverage our existing relations to help Shopify grow in the region.”

About the India opportunity, she says, “We did a workshop in Delhi where we noticed that a lot of brick-and-mortar stores in India are looking to have an online presence for themselves. We plan to do more such workshops in India. We want to bring out and showcase many of the success stories of business owners who leveraged Shopify, and bring more businesses onto Shopify from India.”

“Between SingTel and Shopify we believe that the time is now for e-commerce in Asia, and India especially, and we want to ride on that wave and not miss it,” signs off Lynette.
