Gitanjali started her first art gallery at a time when most of the other galleries were shutting down. Market was in a crisis and she felt a strong need for recognizing artists’ work. People commented that she is doing that as a hobby and art galleries are for housewives. Sticking steady to her vision, Gitanjali traversed all the criticism and market lows with a bold heart and a lovely smile on her face.
She feels that neither a certain education nor the lack of education should not limit opportunities for anybody. When her business demanded, she went ahead and did her MBA at the age of 40.
She believes that women should not feel guilty for not doing everything. Learn to say no when you need to.
