Attention Chennai, Techsparks is here and here's why you should care

Start-up entrepreneurs in Chennai, your Friday just got better. The fourth roundtable of Techsparks, Yourstory’s flagship event, will be hitting your city today after rocking Bangalore, Pune and New Delhi over the past weeks. And this is your chance for some good old networking, a veritable toolkit for getting your venture on the fast track and of course the Tech Bazaar.

We’ll open the doors to you at half past noon, and you can dive straight into the TechBazaar where there are a bunch of innovative companies, that will be showcasing their products:

GeoSpice : The company is developing a system that uses real time location data and analytics to manage public transport services.

Jaze Networks : This company provides network access solutions for wireless as well as wired networks.

Tagalys : They create in-site search engines for e-commerce companies.

Zeocode : Their app helps you pin an address on a map and share it with friends and get directions.

Clockwork Interviews : Their hiring tool connects instantly to all social media profiles of a particular candidate, making verification easier.

The sessions begin at 1:30, kicking off with a keynote address by Sridhar Venkatesh , co-founder of Indix, a product intelligence application which connects apps to products the way Facebook does with people and Google Maps does with locations.

Sridhar, who was part of two start-ups in Silicon valley before Indix, will share the story of his and Indix’s journey with us.

We’ll also have some workshops – one on Startup Metrics by Sequoia Capital, a design workshop by Intel, a branding and marketing one by Brandcapital and one on cloud management.
