[PhotoSparks] Startups all charged up: meet the founders at SURGE 2016, Day Two
PhotoSparks is a weekly feature from YourStory, with photographs that celebrate the spirit of creativity and innovation. In this photo essay, we showcase the startups exhibiting on Day Two of the SURGE 2016 conference in Bangalore (see the startups showcase from Day One here).
In the earlier 80 posts, we brought you a wide range of creative photographs from an art fair, world music festival, painting fair, telecom expo, art museum, mobile showcase, math museum, social hackathon, bookstore, co-working space, sensorium, international design week, flower show, outdoor ads, startup roadshow, computer museum, startup T-shirts, business cards, art therapy, startup festival, Diwali rangoli, Vesak, jazz festival, modern art gallery, ecopreneurs, painter-poets, health activists, eNGOs and digital innovators.
Attendees at the SURGE conference and exhibition this week in Bangalore were treated to an unusual ‘double round’ of startup showcases – an entirely new line-up of founders filled the booth spaces on Day Two, as compared to Day One. With creative costumes, logos, T-shirts, brochures and business cards, the founders showed lots of energy and initiative in pitching their offerings. For example, some of the interesting new designations on their business cards were: Chief Experiment Officer, Wizard of Ops, Queen Bee, and Chief Eventalist!
Much attention at the event focused on news about Ather’s electric scooter, Twitter’s mobile platform Fabric, and tips for aspiring entrepreneurs. In this photo showcase, we bring you face to face with the startup teams behind BlinkTech, Intern Theory, All About Daru, Wallora, Jogiv, ListenIn, Explore Life, Bubblo, Supplified, Yippee, Blisaura, Injected EGC, justBYOD, CampusTime, Awww, FutureCrux, Ouwt, Recurring Meetings, Anatomiz3D, Unitary, HealthKumbh, MyCol, Sarv, ViralTag, Pookaari, neoEYED, BondPlus, and Dorm Shop.
So which of these do you think will become India’s next unicorn – and when?
