India’s B2B e-commerce market opportunity is currently valued at $300 billion and is expected to reach $700 billion by 2020. Primarily e-commerce landscape has been dominated by B2C companies as the monetary aspect restricted Indian consumers from trusting B2B companies, given the size of the transaction involved.
In order to make B2B e-commerce ecosystem in India more sustainable and lucrative, online marketplace for business goods and supplies Tolexo, last week, launched Seller Panel. While CarDekho.com launched automotive battery discovery portal, Couponhaat.in introduced a mobile app for easier access to discounted deals and more. Take a look at the product launches of the week:
Seller Panel offers enhanced visibility to sellers and enables them to manage their business-related tasks seamlessly. It’s a one-stop dashboard providing features like order processing, managing catalogues, payments, and exports, and also aids in inventory management and forecasting stock requirements. In addition, splitting of orders and packages into multiple packages helps in bulk order management.
By leveraging the existing buyer and seller networks, Tolexo has built the largest collection of more than one crore products. It has already served customers from more than 900 cities and towns across India.
Houssup provides 360-degree design demonstration and employs the use of virtual reality gadget that renders high-quality graphics of the design. Consumers are provided with a wide choice of design templates prepared by international interior designers and architects. The platform also allows consumers to create a mood board that matches their taste, preferences and personality. Further, it assists consumers to set up one-on-one meetings with designers and architects for better implementation of a design.
Couponhaat.in launched mobile app for easier access to discounted coupons and deals. Available in both Android and iOS, the app enables buyers to shop from more than 20 shopping categories and benefit from more than 5,000 discounted coupons. The app even allows users to browse in offline mode, select e-commerce sites and get notifications for the exclusive one-time deals.
Auto classifieds portal CarDekho has launched automobile battery research and discovery portal BatteryDekho.com. It will allow CarDekho.com users to search and compare specification and pricing of batteries. The site has more than 250 batteries of top brands such as Amaron, Exide, SF Sonic, Tata Green and Base. Users can search for batteries that are compatible with 500 car and bike brands and contact their preferred dealers for free. BatteryDekho.com has partnered with more than 10,000 dealers in 200 cities to enable greater selection flexibility for its users.
The company also launched its tyre ownership vertical TyreDekho.com in May 2015 to streamline the process of tyre purchase through content, reviews and research tools.
Apart from the product launches, the week that went by also brought some good news for the startups community. Reserve Bank allowed startups with an overseas subsidiary to open foreign currency accounts abroad to credit foreign exchange earnings from exports and sales made by them.
