India being the fastest growing IT market in the world is rising at an impressive rate of 4.95% and the revenues would hit a mark of $85.3 billion by the year 2019 as per partner. With this fast growth of adoption of IT solutions comes opportunities as well as challenges as more and more players, both big and small are now fighting in the same arena to capture their shares. In these circumstances, it has become a constant endeavor of SMEs to keep their competitive edge intact and deliver products and services that are at par in quality with those delivered by big giants of the IT world.
Being a small organization, it has been a challenge for the Enliten IT India team to convince potential clients of their capabilities especially when managing big projects for big organizations. On the other side, when SMEs were approached, they were quite reluctant to try technology solutions that could automate their processes mainly because of concerns of pricing and lack of internal expertise in managing IT. While SMEs were facing many challenges in businesses and there was a clear need to integrate information systems with their decision making processes, it was not easy to explain them how it could actually be done. However, despite challenges, the founders decided to target only SMEs as they were in the most need for the solutions that the company had to provide.
As passionate entrepreneurs, the team of Enliten IT India decided to first create awareness of the need for data collection, decision making and benefits of solutions like big data and data visualization. This first step that targeted to educate the clients was proved to be the right choice as more and more business managers started to understand the importance of such solutions and were at least willing to take a peek into the solution demonstrations.
The results were amazed and overwhelmed faces of entrepreneurs that could envision success and improvement in their processes with the use of project management and data analytics solutions. Enliten IT India started to channelize on the energy that their awareness campaigns had created and soon some organizations opened up to implementation.
Another challenge cropped up with the success of their entry strategy – complex projects had started to come up and there was a need to have a very strong implementation Team. The team took it as an opportunity and provided rigorous training to its staff with inculcation of business values aligned with business goals to create a team that was not only efficient in managing technologies but also in managing service concerns.
Till now the company is majorly present in the Metros and Tier 1 cities. The next objective is to expand their services in Tier 2 and 3 cities and bring the solutions to more and more SMEs expanding into a wide array of business sectors. As Bhakti Sharma , the Co-founder says,
“We want to make our solution affordable to every SME in every city of India so that they can compete with big corporate giants in the global landscape.”
The future is not just for Enliten IT India but the vision is to grow the land of Indian SMEs making them face the global arena with ,much greater confidence over their systems, processes and people.
