The eggplant is belong to the nightshade family of vegetables, also includes bell peppers and potatoes, tomatoes. They grow in a process like tomatoes, drooping the vines of eggplant that grows distinct feet in height. The different varieties do range rather in texture and taste, the generally describe the eggplant as having a pleasantly spongy texture and bitter taste.

Consuming vegetables and fruits of all variety is associated with a decrease risk of many lifestyle-related health conditions. Many studies have suggested that increasing consumption of plant like the eggplant decreases the obesity, diabetes and heart disease and promotes a healthy complexion and increased energy, and lower weight.

How to store in eggplant:

All eggplant will keep up to a few days in a chilly place. Avoid storing in the refrigerator, as this will damage the eggplant's texture.

-> Cut the eggplant lengthwise into thick slices and grill them
