The official website for the Tizen Mobile App Incentive Program is now open for registrations.

The website provides comprehensive information including how to participate in the Incentive Program; access to Tizen SDK & Tools; FAQs and Notice to help developers who are developing Tizen apps for the first time.

Developers who were already selling apps on the Tizen Store before the Incentive Program started can also participate by simply applying with the app that is currently on sale.

The Tizen Store will announce the Top 100 Apps of the month based on the number of downloads from the Tizen Store, and will provide $10,000 to creators of each of the Top 100 Apps for the 9-month period of the Incentive Program.

We are inviting creative developers from around the world to join the Tizen Mobile App Incentive Program.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

Tizen Mobile Phone App (All Tizen mobile apps submitted to the Tizen seller office are eligible.)

TIMELINE

Application Period: January 10 – October 31, 2017 (GMT)

Program Duration: February 1, 2017 – Oct. 31, 2017 at 23:59 (GMT)

REWARDS

The Top 100 downloaded apps for each month on Tizen Store are selected and given a reward of $10,000. (The Top 100 downloaded apps are selected regardless of program participation status.)

• Limited to apps that satisfy the reward criteria
• Rewards are provided only once for the first month of being listed in the Top 100. Multiple listings in the Top 100 are not eligible for multiple rewards.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1. Develop Tizen apps or games using Tizen SDK & Tools

* Target devices

- Samsung Z1, Samsung Z2, Samsung Z3, and other smartphones released in 2017

Step 2. Submit your app to Tizen Store Seller Office

* If the app is already “For Sale” on Tizen Store, go to Step 3 and participate in the Incentive Program.

Step 3. Participate in the Incentive Program on the official website (www.tizenincentive.com)
