From Chef to An Entrepreneur

Hello,

Myself Shiv Shankar Ghosh from a small town in UP named Bijnor. Cooking was my passion since I was 7 years old or you can say I won my first cooking competition in school when I was in 2nd class. That time I never thought I will be a Chef one day. The inspiration came when my Elder sister and my Mentor said you must join Hotel Management and must be a Chef because you love food. And then the journey begins, completed my Masters degree in HM in 2007 along with M.Com and then started my training in a hotel in Connaught Place name Corus Bonsai, then joined another food court and then got the opportunity to join Carnival Cruise lines in Miami, USA. After coming back to India I joined a 5 Star restaurant name Hao Shi Nian Nian, Worked there too but I always wanted to be an Entrepreneur so my dream came into existence when I started my Cooking Classes and Catering in Jan 2011 by the name of Aaugritaa Caterers & Decorators and my journey from a working schedule changed to something that was more meaningful and Innovative for Me.

In Aug 2011 got an opportunity to participate in a food show named Food Food Maha Challenge hosted by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, that gave me name and Fame on Television, that helped me growing my business more and more. And presently after 6 years I'm currently running my Cafes in many places in Delhi/NCR, with My company which is now ISO certified around 30 people work and I'm happy to provide them salary and other facilities. Also I have tie up with Tante Marie which is an London based Hotel Management college and I can send students to study there. So this is my story from a Passionate cook to a Chef to an Entrepreneur.
